Hello,Our HR department is looking for a more advanced recruitment and applicant tracking solution than what GP offers out of the box. They are currently reviewing offerings from Monster and some other online solutions. Ideally, I’d prefer to see something that could interface/roll into GP when an applicant becomes an employee, but I’m not familiar with any options at this point.
If anyone has experience with any third party solutions I’d appreciate any info you have to share!

Hi Thomas,I’ve always heard good feedback about MyStaffingPro (Applicant Tracking System for the Modern Recruiter | myStaffingPro
My understanding is that it does have an integration with GP.

Hi Everyone,
This question is quite a few years old (2016.. that’s far away š )
I was wondering if there is any update on the front of ATS application for GP ? I’ve a customer that is a large engineering firm and receives every month anywhere from 400-500 CV’s from applicants..
They currently have a large collection of 2500 CV’s that were recently scanned and stored on the network, but no way to research it quickly for skills. They tried to get a VAR help them with setting up the Applicant side in GP HR and setup Skill sets, but realize it would require a huge manual work to have a resources go thru each and every CV to enter the applicant’s info into GP and select the skills. PLUS, their challenge is the dual language French & English, since they are in Eastern Canada and work in a French environment, but some offices in the West (English). Applicants come from everywhere in the country and speak many languages, but mainly it’s French & English that is used for the CV’s.Is MyStaffingPro still the go-to app for GP ? I found some other names likel Lanteria which promises some GP integrations, but no details about how well… There is also Visibility Software and SutiHR, but not much feedback either on those.
I’d grateful for up-to-date (recent) experience on that business side of GP. They plan to implement an Employee Performance review as well soon, but my knowledge of the tool is that it is strictly limited to performance evaluation.. A tool that would cover the whole lifecycle of employees would be great.

Hi David,
Thanks for your feedback. I was looking at the Bullhorn One ATS site and to me it seemed that this was more targeted to staffing companies that are recruiting online to provide resources to other clients.. (like Nigel Frank and the like).
Not sure that’s what my client is looking for.. They only want to streamline the hiring process and the applicant interview process with a better tracking. The Bullhorn app might just be overkill.

Hi @Beat BucherWhile not directly in the GP wheelhouse, you may want to take a look at the Dynamics 365 HR product Human Resources | Microsoft Dynamics 365.
While I don’t have practical experience using it, several years ago, I worked for a firm that developed their own in-house, and reviewed this when it was released shortly after our development was complete. It seemed very solid, and would have saved us several months of development, and had a lot of extra features we had not thought to build. The UI language is easily controlled with the user preferences. It’s built on top of the MS Dataverse, so integration with a GP back end can easily be done by a citizen developer with Power Automate. As I recall, it also had self service portals, and a public facing portal that could be set up to collect resumes and translate or standardize them.
Monthly per user pricing is also nice.

Thank you Jeff for the suggestion,
The customer does not have D365 and is not interested in buying or subscribing another system yet.. They want to leverage their GP platform which is already using an ISV solution for TS&EE and project tracking which heavily integrates into GP. They also use Canadian Payroll inside of GP, which would make the whole D365HR redundant in many ways. They just want to tackle the ATS part of the business where GP clearly is lacking of strength..——————————

Jeff,
As a follow-up note, I talked to another VAR in the GP business and they had inquired Microsoft about the D365 HR solution, and it seems to be big and overkill for most of the smaller businesses.. and very expensive on top of that.
They referred me to an application bundle they have developed to address the needs for GP customers where GP HR clearly lacks advanced features. The products is based on D365CRM and can easily be integrated with a connector to GP’s back-end HR module.

The product is modular and built around 3 aspects of HR:
– Applicant management system
– Project management solution that integrates with their own Project module for GP
