Hi, all.

I have a single user having an issue with a “Not privileged to run this report” error when they try to print the reports from the Edit Payment Batch window. The Exception Report runs fine, but when she tries to run the Computer Check Edit List, she gets the “Not privileged to run this report” error twice, and then the Computer Check Edit List report prints out. This is all printed to screen if that matters. I’m assuming there are some additional reports that run as part of the Computer Check Edit List in the background or something like that but I can’t figure out which security role / task I need to grant her so this works.

Does the user have an installation of GP on their own computer?  Is it a recent install?  It is likely that the report for the Computer Check Edit List is a modified report and you need to point the computer that the user is using to the Shared Reports location.

OR… someone with a local install has that modification saved locally, but the Alternate/Modified forms and reports is telling the users that the report is modified and the user trying to access that report is not pointed in the DYNAMICS.set to the same location of REPORTS that the modification was done in.

It is stupid complex how these reports are setup to be utilized.

Let me know if this does not make sense.?

The GP Power Tools Security Profiler window will identify the exact reports that you are missing access to and the Security Information window will show you how to adjust the access to fix the issue.
