We are see the following symptoms:

1. The component is issued to the MO
2. It does not show as quantity put into WIP
3. It does not show as consumed on the MO
4. Raw Material relief posted correctly 
5. FG Posts correctly
6. A material usage variance is posted to the MO for the full quantity / cost of the issued component
7. On the Purchase Receipts inquiry, no quantities show as sold, although they have been issued to and consumed in the build of the parent.

Has anyone experience this type of problem?

Keith,

Is the component Lot or Serial tracked?  Was their sufficient quantity on hand when the issue was done (i.e. allow negative inventory is not allowed)?  If the IV gets stuck during posting or somehow doesn’t post through then it typically won’t show in Mfg until that document gets posted all the way through the GL.  Is this happening only for certain items?  There used to be an instance where you had to print one of the GL posting reports (to screen, file or paper) in order for the Mfg module to pickup the transaction so if you suppress all your Financial posting reports the transaction wouldn’t trigger in Mfg to show up for costing etc. even though the material gets consumed from Inventory as you have shown.  Are your Financial posting reports disabled/enabled?
