    Need Help with Disposing Assets in DGP R18

    I am having an issue retiring assets – I get the error message “Retirement Date must be in or before the current fiscal year for any book”, the book is in the current fiscal year. Previously, I didn’t remember having to close any books before disposing assets but they are closed and I am still not able to process. Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you

    I’ve recently had this issue. If you have more than one Book ID in GP, all of them need to be in the same fiscal year in order to process a retirement.
