We had a situation today where over 2,000 items had their order points set to 0, all in less than 20 minutes.

Because we have a trigger on the IV00102 table we see a user login name on the changes.

The problem is that the login is their GP login but have no idea how a mass update on order point quantities could be done in GP.

The changes only appear to have been made on items that had an order point quantity value.

Can anyone shed light on how this might have happened?

, It’s possible someone could have updated the site planning settings and rolled these down to all items.  Inventory >> Cards >> Site >> Planning Button.

The user in question doesn’t remember doing that but I did as you noted above in a test environment and it did exactly as it had done in production and wrote identical type details.
