We are currently on GP 18.3.1245 and use the Manufacturing module version 18.3.1193
When we create an order for an item that needs to be manufactured, order entry will trigger a manufacturing order linked to the sales order. The order will then show the qty of the item as on back order until the manufacturing order is completed. The issue we are seeing is that when the manufacturing order is completed, the qty transfers from back ordered to qty to be invoiced but does not also automatically update the qty fulfilled. (see screenshot) Is there a way to have the order fulfilled as soon as the manufacturing order is completed?
It is causing some confusion once the sales order gets transferred to an invoice

By the help of eConnect Qty fulfill can be updated as soon as the Manufacturing order is completed.

Check your Order Type Setup and see that “use separate fulfillment process” is not marked and allocate is set to “allocate by line item”.

      Thanks for your reply Thaddeus!
I checked our Order Type Setup and the use separate fulfillment process box was already not checked and allocation wasĀ set to line item.Ā
      Any other setting to check?

I looked at your screenshot again and the Qty Available shows as 0.0000. This is why it did not allocate/fulfill given your other order settings. There has to be a qty available in the site.
I’m not sure why that shows zero but multi bin use could be part of it or the site SHP is not a site where the MO was completed. The item could also not be Type = On Hand.
So the thing to chase down is where is the Item that the MO created. What SiteID, and what Type?Ā  Ā Serials or Lots need to set to auto assign if used. Multi Bin if used needs Defaults assigned.
