Issue with GP test company
Having an issue with a test company that got created after upgrading to GP 18.5. Before GP 18.5 we had the HRM Solutions installed even though we didn’t use it. Now it is not part of the install. Used GP Utilities to create a test company. Then restored the current production database into the new test company. Now when installing GP on a computer and running GP Utilities I get an error on the test company (see attached screenshot). Looking in the Dynamics..DB_Upgrade table there are no entries for those products for this test company. There are entries for those products for all the other companies. So, not sure how to get past this error. Anyone have any ideas?

HRM is now installed with Integrity Data Payroll . Download the software from their site> https://www.integrity-data.com/download-software/
use the Standard Plus Install to get the Advanced Payroll features.

Yes I know Integrity Data has HRM now but the issue is HRM was installed in previous GP installs but never used. If you now create a new test company and try to restore a copy of a company that was being used when HRM had been installed you get errors in GP Utilities since the new test company that got created doesn’t have HRM but the database copy you want to use with the new test company has it. I am guessing that I have to make some SQL table changes but not sure what.

What versions did you upgrade from?

So if this is the case and it was not completed correctly, you will need to do an uninstall.. See Terry’s BLOG…
