Hi All,Our company is looking at different types of warehouse management systems, and would like to reach out to the community for additional information.Ā We are a small to midsized company,Ā so we don’t necessarily need a Ferrari, but we also wantĀ a solution which is scalable as we are a growing company.Ā Ā We have looked at WithoutWire, Accellos (HighJump), and Panatrack thus far, and would like to see what solutions other companies are using.Ā Obviously, it is important for us to use a solution that has and integration with Dynamics GP, and a strong history of being a partner with GP.Ā Currently we track inventory in GP, and maintain accurate levels through hand cycle counting.Ā We do not have a barcoding system which would be part of our WMS implementation.
We also need a solution that works well with the Manufacturing Module.Ā The extent of our manufacturing is very simple.Ā We basically break down large quantities into smaller quantities, package and label.Ā We do not currently schedule any MOs, and only use the quick MO functionality.Ā With that being said, it is still important we have a solution that works well with GP Manufacturing as a whole.
Any ideas or suggestions from users would be greatly appreciated along with any positive (or negative) experiences.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to read and comment.

Good morning ,We just used Kare Technologies (Inovity would be the contact…JD Mervis) to integrate a new WMS in our facility. (2 months ago) We didn’t have a barcode system in place before. They use Blue Moon Technologies for their Visual Warehouse communication (Bridge Software) to GP. If you’re interested, make sure you have everything you need included in the Scope of Work. The smallest additions can complicate things; post integration. It’s better for them to know everything up front. They’re good to work with.

Hi Joe,We have used Accellos Collect for GP, and a portion of their A1 Ship software for awhile now. It is good software and the handhelds make a lot of transactions really easy. We implemented it fairly quickly and we were fortunate in that we had a lot of barcode functionality prior to Accellos. It has worked very well, but I will warn some of their functionality is hindered if you use serial numbers or lot numbers within GP.Ā
As far as manufacturing, I don’t think I can comment on Accellos’s functions within the manufacturing module. We process thousands of MO’s per day but do not do any of that inside of Accellos. We strictly just use Accellos for the inventory management, receiving, and shipping portion.Ā
Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Hi Joe,We also used Collect for GP from Accellos at my last post. Ā We evaluated several products and went with it due to the fact that it’s been around for awhile (I believe it used to own by Maximum Data then Accellos bought it and recently HighJump).
The product works fairly well as it connects to GP directly unlike some other solutions. Ā Our concern was mostly troubleshooting issues when devices get disconnected and it turned out, IIRC, we didn’t have much headache w Collect.
Their supportĀ service is much to desire though….this was a let down for me.

Hi Joe,Look into FASCOR WMS. Ā Good system. Company is based out of Cincinnati. Ā All our pickers use handheld scanners to move units around, print labels, etc. You also get webtools to manage inventory, home, location, scheduling, etc. Ā FASCOR is a competitor of Accellos/HighJump. Ā Fascor does play well with Accello’s EDI and GP. Ā

Hello Joe,
We utilize Panatrack with Dynamics GP 2013.
Panatrack integrates well with GP and using Panatrack on our handheld scanners is very user friendly.Ā We recently did our year end inventory with the stock count feature and they released an enhancement we asked for to include the functionality of the ability to print out a label from the stock count.Ā This was very beneficial for us in not having to have a separate exercise of barcoding all of our existing material that we had received prior to going live with Reception of Material through Panatrack.Ā By having the option to print at stock count, we could make sure all existing material was labeled as part of the count.
The customer service you get with Panatrack in my experience has been excellent.Ā They have worked with us very closely through implementations/training/enhancement and functionality requests for 3 separate sites and delivered on our requirements.Ā In my opinion they are a solid vendor.Ā The only issue I’ve run into is connectivity with some of our handhelds but we needed better WAP’s in place to mitigate some of that, and that isn’t a reflection on the software.Ā We took advantage of using NiceLabel with Panatrack as it was fully supported by them.Ā We’ve needed several customizations for labels, forms to reprint labels etc. and the support at Panatrack (Ian specifically) was outstanding.Ā

HIOur company has used Panatracker for years.Ā It takes some effort to set it up but it works great for receiving, cycle counting and physical inventory.Ā The control panel for Panatracker once setup works great.Ā Their support staff is top notch.Ā The company really cares about customer support.Ā I haven’t had to use them very often but when I do I receive the best support I have ever received from a provider.
I would highly recommend Panatracker

Hi Joe,We use Panatrack and found it very easy to install and use.
We use the barcoding system in Panatrack to read and number of different formats from our vendors. Our stock is from several different industries, anywhere from healthcare/pharmaceutical to rubber bands, which was an initial challenge to try to capture all of the formats in one algorithm. The turn-around time on the project was less than 2 weeks. The barcode captured with the scanner from the vendor’s packaging is then associated directly to the unique part number we’ve assigned to that item in GP. This association is held right in GP so that you can change or delete it anytime.
We have a remote warehouse facility so the server housing our GP Dynamics data is hundreds of miles away. The data communication process is instantaneous with the Panatrack scanning system, and visa versa if we make a change to the item in GP.
