We are moving a new company into GP2018 and because they are customer class/item group pricing based, for the most part standard pricing will not work so planning to use extended pricing.

The one problem I’m seeing with extended pricing is that I can’t seem to see how we can use pricing based on markup of costĀ  like you can with standard pricing.

      Any ideas?

      Hi Jeff,

We’ve used Extended Pricing for years, but we don’t use a cost markup method for customer pricing.Ā  Ā From what I can see, what you’re looking for is not possible, as you indicated, as part of the Extended Pricing module.Ā

Just spitballing, but you could create a “Markup Price Sheet” which would include all items with whatever your markup cost+ calculation would be for each. Unfortunately you would need update those prices manually (import or macro) on a regular basis.Ā  Or perhaps an integration using a 3rd party that would updates the prices automatically?Ā  Ā Sorry, not much else I can think of at this point.

      Hi

Have you looked at Omni Price which I originally developed and is now sold by Rockton Software?

It works with standard pricing rather than replaces standard pricing and so is much simpler to set up and has greater flexibility than extended pricing.

      Regards

      David?
