I have a part that I’m struggling adding to a Sales Order.

After the part number is entered and I tab through the fields on the line details, I get a UOM value, Unit Price and Extended Price just as expected. When I tab out of the Extended Price field the system displays a message “Not all required fields have been entered. Required fields appear in bold black type”

It is part specific because all other parts work fine. Ā What should I be looking at and in what tables to validate where the part is incomplete?

      Thanks

      Hi Jeff,

One thing to look out for is case sensitivity.Ā  You may have a U of M setup for that part with a different spelling (case) than what is most likely auto-populating when you start typing in that field.

      For example:Ā  EACH <> Each <> each

Check the specific U of M for that part.

It used to happen to me a lot back in the dayšŸ˜‰

      Jeff,

I also got tripped up by this message recently, the cause of my issue was no Price Level assigned to that Item Number. Ā This can be added as a default in the Price List (Standard Pricing) for that Item Number, or you can add an existing Price Level directly on the Sales Order Line. Ā To see the Price Level field you will need to expand on the line using using the “chevron” button in the top right of that section of the window.

The part in question has a correct Price Level the same as other parts that work OK.

Correction, i was looking at the wrong Price Level.

After going to the right area the part did in fact not have a Price Level.

It was added and all is well.

      Thanks

I had already validated that but thanks anyway, it never hurts to be sure.

All our parts are setup as EA
