Quick question: Does anyone know if the calculation for Addenda Count on the Detail line of the EFT setup has been fixed recently? I see several older post from 2015 and prior stating this is a known issue. Our bank has asked that we use the CTX format for our EFT payments. I’ve got the file formatted except the Addenda Count on the Detail line is not working. If it hasn’t been fixed, does anyone have a good work around?
Thank you for your help. Slainte.

Easiest way to fix is to uncheck the detail line addenda check box. What I found with GP 2013SP2 at least is that even on records that had no addenda, it was creating an addenda record and the bank was rejecting the file, so I just unchecked that box. Most vendors do not support it anyway, you can send them (via email) the remittance advice so they will know which invoices your deposit was applied to anyway.
