      Hi

      Thanks for highlighting the Feature of the Day posts.

      Please note that the next version of GP will move to the modern lifecycle and will be branded just as “Microsoft Dynamics GP”? and this is the October 2019 release.

      We need to be consistent on the branding… Microsoft Dynamics GP (October 2019) would probably be the best. 🙂

      See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-gp/terms/lifecycle

      ,

      I don’t get it. Branding is for Microsoft. If we wind up referring to the new GP versions in the way that Microsoft would like us to, then their branding is successful. Maybe MVPs have a mandate to refer to it in that way as well.

      But us regular users will probably shorten the name to GP 2019. Then, whatever the “modern lifecycle” churns out next, we’ll very likely refer to it by the year. GP isn’t going to have major revisions more than once a year, will it??

      Just being iconoclastic today…

      Regards,

      I expect to refer to it as GP 1910 in the same way I am running Windows 1903.

      1910 = 19 10 = 2019 October

      See https://winthropdc.wordpress.com/2019/09/28/msdyngp-microsoft-dynamics-gp-october-2019-release-coming-soon/

      David?
