      Hello

I am trying to delete an obsolete recurring Payables batch.  When I go in through Transactions>Purchasing>Batches, pick my batch, and click Delete it tells me “You aren’t allowed to delete unposted documents that have been printed”.  I also tried going into the batch through the Transaction entry to delete each payable one by one & receive the same message.  Everything has been posted.  Any suggestions?

      Hello Amy,
We have run into this also and here is what it took for us to complete. This comes from the Help screen in GP.

Use the Payables Batch Entry window to correct or delete a batch. You can change or delete unposted batches at any time. Recurring batches are deleted after the batch has been posted the number of times you specify in the Recurring Posting field.

Check your number of times and change this to see if that helps.

I hope this helps answer your question.
      Steve

      Hi
There is a checkbox in the Options area of the Payables Setup window that says “Delete Unposted Printed Documents”. Try checking that box and then delete the recurring batch.
      Kind regards,
      Leslie

Thank you for the options.  We had to check the box in setup to get it to work but that was extremely helpful.
