      Hello all,
Does anybody know what it means with you database has a db_status of 55 in the DB_UPGRADE table in the Dynamics (system) dictionary?
I have a gap in my numbers between 51 and 70 and from 70 to 135. If anyone can fill in some of those blanks I would be most appreciative.
      Kind regards,
      Leslie

?My GP Upgrade checkerĀ SQL code that uses status this only goes to 54 (Wrap up Step), so it sounds like new steps may have been added since I last revisited the subject. When building the “Check Dynamics GP DB_upgrade status during GP Upgrades.sql” code, I got most of those status values a few years agoĀ from

      ?Hi Leslie,

My internal document stops at 51 for the statuses as well. šŸ™‚

However, when you get up that high you’re pretty much at the end of the upgrade. Status 53 is loading stored procedures, status 54 is ‘binding defaults’, so 55 is probably something like the grant script or that other SM script that runs at the very end.

If the upgrade is stuck, just flip the status manually. I’ve done this for statuses of 53 before, it shouldn’t be a problem.

      Hope this helps!

It looks like Leslie’s free to make up her own statuses from 70 to 135.Ā
I suggest that status 111 should be “Bandwidth Slow Down due to watching Netflix while Upgrading”.Ā  That one gets me every time! šŸ™‚
