My historical aged trial balance has some old PMTs that are still showing up.  Example: PMT date is 10/07/2021 but this check was applied to an invoice dated 09/14/2033.  Obviously the invoice date was an error but this will continue to show up in my subledger until the year of the invoice.  I have four more like this one that go back as far as 2003 pmt date. I tried to use Utilities-remove transaction history but the system will not allow me to remove an applied invoice or pmt.

Hi Lisa.

To remove a payment from your HATB report without affecting the AP control balance, create a debit memo for that vendor and adjust the distribution so that you debit and credit the same account.  Then apply the payment to the posted debit memo.

If you use multi-currency there was a bug that was fixed with the Oct 2020 release where documents weren’t clearing off the AP trial balance as expected.
I feel like we had some non multi-currency customers that had this issue as well but it’s be a few covid months so I don’t remember for sure.
