One of the issues is that, we do not know how to add memos to our checks(This is not our check just a sample),
please see screen shots below.See second screenshot below: The highlighted field in yellow is the data that I would like
to appear on the check like the memo on this sample check. Can anyone, please assist?——————————

Hi,
If you print your checks individually from the Payables Transaction entry window, you can put the description in the memo field. If you print them from a check batch created in any other way, you cannot. How would you handle the descriptions if a single check paid off multiple invoices? What would go on the memo line in that case?
Kind regards,

Going along with Leslie’s answer. You shouldn’t pull the detail comment to the “Check Memo” because you might pay multiple invoices and apply multiple credits.
I was able to add it to the Check Stub. Contact me directly (or have your partner contact me) for the details. I had to create a conditional Calculated field and change security. Because it is more involved, it would be best to talk about it. It also looks like you are using Binary Stream Multi-Entity Management. I know many of the GP reports are modified because of this product. I am not sure about the Check Format. I can create the description field, but I don’t know if there are any special considerations because of that product….I wouldn’t think so…but I am not sure.
Feel free to email me.
Here is what I was able to do (Added Description Column below):

As well, going along with Amber Bell’s answer, if it is true you are using Binary Stream’s Multi Entity Management add-on, you may want to consider using Mekorma’s MICR checks for Payables.
Mekorma MICR allows you to use blank check stock for unparalleled flexibility. Build payments from multiple checkbooks, with checks formatted exactly as you need them on the paper size you choose.
The company I work for uses Multi Entity Management for over 121 facilities with 6 checking accounts per facility. Mekorma Micr out of the box prints the Description from the invoice out of the box and as well gives you an easy to use Editor to edit the checks the way you want them to look.
Speak to your Partner about Mekorma MICR or call them directly:

Hi Fernando,
There are several ways to add a “note” or “memo” to your Mekorma check format. The key is whether this memo needs to be unique for every check, or you want the same memo text on all checks. I will explain how to do it with both scenarios and you can choose the one that works best for you.
1. If the MEMO text is the same for every check in the batch, then you can use the Mekorma Check Comment field. You would add this field to your check stub and place it in the desired location on the check region. The field is located in the General Information category of the Mekorma Configurator “Add Elements” window. You would then type the text you want to display using the Check Comment field on the Mekorma MICR Check Setup window for that checkbook.
2. If the MEMO text is unique for each vendor and/or voucher, then the best way to add it would be using our Voucher and/or Vendor Notes features which allows you to print the text from the Voucher Note field or Vendor Note field onto the check stub.
The other option if you are just doing a single check, is what Leslie Vale mentioned: you can enter text in the DESCRIPTION field on the Transaction Entry window and that will print in the Voucher: Transaction Description field on the check format.
Please let us know if you have any additional question or need additional assistance with this. You can contact Mekorma Support directly at support@mekorma.com.
