?Our check batch is not pulling anything due.  I also tried using the Smartlist report that pulls current payable due and it is not pulling anything.  We do not have any open check batches and we are having to manual select the vendors we want to pay by pulling the invoice dates of open transactions then creating a batch and manually selecting those that are due.  We have never seen this before and it’s been happening for a week now.  Has anyone encountered this before?

Can you screen shot the Select Checks/Build Payment Batch window after you have your restrictions added?  Also would like to see an invoice entered with the due date.  You can blank out any information you don’t want the world to see.  That will help though to maybe detect what’s going on.

FYI for everyone since this was an interesting one.  Explorer does their select payment process by checkbook id and it turned out that the checkbook id had been changed on the vendors.  So the select works as it should when the new/wrong checkbook is selected.   We’re thinking the most likely reason for the change as a vendor class roll down.

That vendor class roll down is a dangerous thing, and in the time that I’ve been using GP (since 2003) that hasn’t changed. It would be better if the default when changes are made is “no.”

An additional update in case anyone searches for this in the future.  This ended up actually being a Mekorma related issue.  A new Mekorma feature got triggered and was causing the problem.  There is more to it then this, but just know if you run into the issue and use Mekorma, keep that in mind. 🙂
