      Good evening GPUG Community,

I am new to GPUG and was wondering if someone would be able to help me find out the name of a specific security task.

I am looking for the task that allows the user to add/view/delete files from the vendor cards. From my research, I believe that within GP 2013 R2, the use of the document attachment function is task TRX_PURREQ_26*. I cannot seem to find the task that would include this function in the version that I am using, which is GP 2015.

I look forward to receiving a response and I appreciate your time.

      Best,

      Hello Jim,

I had seen this once when we were setting up some security rights for users.

See if TRX_PURCH_017* is what you are looking for to handle this for GP 2015.

      Steve

      Hi Steve,

Thank you for your help. I accomplished what I needed to using Bill’s procedure from GP 2013 and your correct task.

Thanks again and have a happy new year!

      Jim

I believe the permission you need is the following:

Its possible these security operations are not selected in your TRX_PURREQ_026*. You can either select these in this task, or set up another task with these permissions and assign that to your user. Note that these are under the Company Series, not purchasing as you might expect.

If this still does not work, are you certain that document attachment is properly set up? Can other users attach documents to vendor cards? If not this could point to setup issues on the Administration pane.
