Here’s some food for thought…Refreshable reports are fine in Excel but, keep in mind that, Excels Jet Engine lacks the powerful Data Insight, Data Analytic and Question & Answer statistical algorithms that are built in to Power BI. These statistical algorithms take a report to a whole new level in terms of the information that is surfaced for the user and are the basis for true Data Analytics and Business Intelligence. Go beyond refreshable with Power BI.

I am well aware of the benefits of Power BI!   The title of this post was for comedic purposes as we are focusing on Excel and it’s tools as opposed to Power BI.

Many accountants and end users have a difficult time convincing their IT staff to provide additional tools such as Power BI or even some of the Excel tie-ins.

This course focuses on leveraging a technology already owned and installed and approved to provide powerful analysis of GP data.

The course focuses solely on “out-of-the-box” Excel and GP!

Perhaps my humor is not appreciated by those who, like me, are a giant Power BI fan and user. LOL.    However, and again, this course is for those who need to use out-of-the-box technologies.??
