We are getting ready to shop 401(k) providers later this Summer.  We process payroll in house using GP (18.2).  Approximately 600 W-2’s.

Is anyone aware of 401k providers who have written integration with GP HR and Payroll?  Seeking recommendations and single point of entry for 401k administration.

I would shop for the best provider and not worry so much if they have pre-written integrations to GP.

As a rule, if you own Integration Manager or SmartConnect and the software (even cloud) can produce an Excel, CSV or Text file then you can integrate it to GP.

With SmartConnect you can even use a mix of Windows Schedulers and Integration Schedulers to have it load to GP without needing to manually run anything.

Other than that, I have no other recommendations for 401(k) providers, but it would also help get more response if you would give the community more information on what you need from this provider and what you are expecting in order for them to jump in with lots of recommends.?

We will forge ahead with our overall selection criteria and include analysis of data import/export capabilities in our decision.

It is always a challenge to keep employee data and transactions in synch in separate systems (i.e. timekeeping, pension admin, employee benefits, etc.).

SmartConnect sounds like a good tool.  We do not currently use it.
