We are on AX2012 R3 CU13.  We have a warehouse that is WMS controlled.  The issue we have is that our item uom is Case and we put multiple cases on a pallet, i.e. 96 per pallet.  When we have a sales order for let’s say 192 (2 pallets), we need the mobile device user to scan each pallet barcode of 96 and then count down the remaining quantity needed for the Work so they know they have picked the correct quantity.  When the scan the first 96 they get an error of “The quantity is not valid for unit Case”.  Is there a setting in the Location directive or Work template that we are missing?

How do you have your Unit sequence group set up?

You need to set up a Unit sequence group for case-pallet. You will also need to set up a unit conversion for each product to tell the system 1 pallet = 96 Cases. Then make sure in released products, under the warehouse tab, to select the unit sequence group id for case-pallet.
