?Self serve users have access to the Enterprise Portal and can perform a limited amount of tasks such as maintain purchase requisitions, enter / approve travel and expenses and approve vendor invoices as employee.  If a named user has a higher user CAL assigned such as Task, Functional or Enterprise they will be able to perform all of the Self service tasks.

Self-Serve CAL type is base CAL type.  This license type is used to process information which is specific to user itself.

Self-Serve CAL grants employee rights for your own use and not for or on behalf of other individuals.

Some of the processes which, a user with CAL Type Self-Serve can process are shown below:

1. To record time resulting solely for payroll processing
2. To record expenses solely for reimbursement
3. Manage personal information
4. Create requisitions
5. Manage budgets related to these activities
