      Microsoft requirements for Dynamics AX 2012 says –
      Microsoft SQL Server 2016, Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition is supported with AX2012 R3 cumulative update 11.

      Does this mean it also supports AX 2012 R3 CU9?

      For R3 it is CU11

      For R2 it is CU9

      Hi Rick,

      Thanks for the reply.

      SQL server 2016 supports AX 2012 R3 CU11.
      We are on CU9. Will it support R3 CU9 if we upgrade to SQL server 2016?
      Or for CU9 which is the latest  SQL server version supported?
