I have PBI report developers who need adhoc access to “public” data entities via Odata feed connector to D365FO. We are on V10 PU 25. Is there an easy/simple way to define/create a single security role for these developers?

You could could do the following: 1) Create a custom privilege 2) Assign Read permission to the necessary Data Entity objects to this privilege (these would be the data entities used by your OData connector) 3) Create a custom role 4) Assign your custom privilege to your custom role 5) Assign this role to any PowerBI developers that need that access
If you have any questions about this process please feel free to reach out.
