Hello all,

I have a released product in AX 2012 R2 CU6 that is coming up with this error:

“A currency to convert from is required to retrieve exchange rate information”

This occurs for all employees working with the item.  It is only on this item and the associated items (REMAN). This error is also found in our NPR catalog for that item. It was first identified when trying to order the item on a PO.
We only deal with USD currency and that currency is placed in all the locations that I can determine in that specific item.

I did look at a conversation in this forum regarding a PO having this problem.  However, I do not feel that solution is going to help on this.

He recommends you to delete this product and create it again. Something must be touched in a place related to the currency that is different from others, so, the easiest way to fix this is deleting it.
