      Hi there,

Does any one have any tips or tricks to getting logos and bar codes to print on the TM-T88V receipt printer from Epson? I have all HP H300 printers deployed in my retail locations and they work fine but if I drop the Epson in place with the same receipt profile, the logo and bar code don’t print. The logo is embedded directly on the receipt using the receipt designer. I’m intentionally not using the approach of uploading the logo to NVRAM since that’s not necessary with the H300.

I’ve tried sizing down the logo and even replacing it with a tiny monochrome test bitmap but the logo won’t print no matter what I do.

Since the H300 works perfectly as expected, I think this is a printer capability or configuration problem, but Epson support has been absolutely no help (it’s a software problem, call Microsoft).

      any advice is appreciated!

      Hi Matthew,

I have always experienced a bit of tinkering no matter what client we are on when making sure both the logo and bar code are printing on the receipt.Ā

For the logo, there are a couple settings on the hardware profile that I usually update that have allowed us to eventually print out a logo. The character set = ‘850’ and Print binary conversion = ‘Yes’. After that, you are right, it takes a bit of tinkering with your logo size and color scheme to get it working. I wish I had more a more technical explanation than that.Ā

For the bar code, I have seen at times that if the character length is over 13 that it will not print them out on Epson devices. If you go to the Functionality profile -> Receipt numbering check your bar code formats to make sure they are under 13 characters to see if they then print.

Hope this helps out a bit!
