Is DA100 & 70778 is related or there is a sequence which one is fundamental and which one is next

please advise

Hi Najeem,

Microsoft is phasing out their older exams. 70-778 is an older exam and it is actually set to expire on January 31, 2021!

You can tell what is a new exam vs. an old one by the numbering sequence. DA-100 is more indicative of a newer style exam (two letter prefix, followed by three numbers). The older exams that are being phased out tend to be all numerical. 

I ALWAYS check the Microsoft certification list page before taking an exam to ensure it is still relevant and not set to expire soon!
