Hello everyone…
Does D365 F&O support only Adyen for credit card processing?Ā If another payment connector was preferred, would a customization be required?
For those on D365 F&O, how did you setup credit card processing and why did you decided to go that route?Ā Specifically, looking for those that use Adyen AND those that chose to customize.
Thank you in advance!!!

SK Global Software has a great product called Credit Card Advantage that works seamlessly with D365 F&O.Ā I included a link to make it easier for you to find and read about.Ā I have implemented this product for several customers and they only have good things to say.
Hope this helps!

Thank you, Missy.Ā We may have to go that route.Ā For my baseline understanding, does D365 F&O process credit card transactions out of the box?Ā My understanding is it does, but I cannot determine which payment connectors it accepts.Ā Ā
Thank you,

Hi Lori,At this time, it appears that Adyen is the only payment processor available out of the box with D365.

Others are possible, but would require custom development or use of a third party add-on as Missy suggests.

Thanks, Josh.Ā It is safe to assume Adyen only works with the Retail version?Ā What if not running Retail?Ā Are there any out-of-the-box solutions to process credit cards if not running Retail?Ā Thank you very very much!!!

Ah – so is your use case to accept customer credit cards in a non-retail context? The Adyen processor meant for an e-commerce situation. That does not require full Retail configuration. There is a need for third party processor, which is setup on the Payment services page in AR. On that page, there is a link to some available providers, but other third parties could be engaged.Ā
