      Hi all:

Is it possible to define Multiple Payment Terms for a Customer in D365 F&O?
Use case is that we want the flexibility to have some products/services to invoice with Payment Terms = 30 days whereas other product/services are to be invoiced with Payment Terms = 45 days?
I understand the above scenario assumes each invoice contains a services for a unique Payment Term (ie. we cannot have products/services on a invoice that span multiple Payment Terms).Ā

      Thank you

I think i understand your question, you can have terms set on a customer as a “base” for terms but change the terms on the actual sales order to be something different

      Thanks!

What you suggest appears to be the only out-of-box option. We were looking for a option that does not involve “touching” each sales order to apply the payment termĀ  – something in between Customer-level Payment Term and Payment Term specified on the sale order.Ā

Sales Agreements let you select terms for each agreement at the agreement header level.Ā  You could setup Agreement 1 with products and services with payment terms = 30, and Agreement 2 with products and services with payment terms = 45.Ā  When a sales order came with you would need to reference which agreement number should apply to that sales order.Ā  If your orders come in through an automated EDI feed that *should* not be too hard to do.
