In this specific situation I am looking for a Data Entity or service in F&O to allow an external application to complete a batch registration on a pick ticket.  I have traced the overall process of the form in Dynamics and can see the tables and classes that are used for the function but I was hoping to see if there were others that have developed similar solutions.

The basic idea would be that you would call the service operation endpoint from an external service and then you can perform any X++ code you would like from the service.
