I am doing some testing in D365FO with Master Planning.Ā  One thing we are trying to accomplish is to run MP but only for item requirements for a single project.Ā  I have tried using the “Records to include” filtering when running MP by adding a join to the “Project item requirements” table and then filtering to a single project but that returns no results.Ā  As a sanity check, I ran MP without this filter and it does return the demand created by the item requirements of this project.Ā  Is there a way to run MP and only included the demand created from a single project’s item requirements?

      Randy,

Our Project Managers frequently run MRP from the Item Requirement line when the project status is updated to in process or a change has been made.Ā  The update isĀ  then communicated to Purchasing and Production, which is helpful in purchasing long lead time items.Ā  From the Item Requirement Line > Manage Tab > Inquiries > Explosion
