we run a warehouse replenishment plan. the system is showing delay(days) even though the source warehouse has enough stock to fulfill the transfer order. we believe due to some parameter setting, this delay is happening.Ā
need to know what parameters effect the delay(days) calculation.Ā
i am attaching planned order info and its pegging.

There are normally a couple of reasons to see a delay. To troubleshoot I run a net requirement on the item from Ā Release item > Plan > Net requirements.Ā This will show me my requirements and more importantly my accumulated totals in a time fence. The second step is once I find the line in question, in your case, the Transfer line and the Accumulated value is positive I drill in on the Number to get to the Derived requirements. I then select he Delay action tab and review the results, because it can be an upper level demand driving the delay. MRP is always trying to time all actions (purchase, transfer, production) based on the highest level requirement.
