Hi All

We are on AX 2012 R3, Management reportor specially for where block  “Tree” reporting is set up its time out or running like half an hour to produce a report

Last month same report was fine and was not taking that long to run

Any suggestion, please advise

Hello, I would recommend:

• Increase RAM memory on server (see install prereqs pdf file attached)
• Sometimes split the three MgtRpt components onto separate servers (process service, application service, data mart)
• You may change timeout settings (see install config pdf file attached) in config files on server
• Shy away from transaction detail with many monthly periodic columns unless truly needed
• Be on latest MR 2012 CU16 release
• I would be glad to complimentary look at report layout and server config via GoToMeeting

3rd option : You may change timeout settings, helped to fix the issue. Now reports runs in seconds

Please when are you planning to conduct MR technical session like Data Mart refresh and MR versions knowledge based training, how to upgrade to to CPU16

Also want to share that we are on CU8  2.1.8991.0 which doesnt support AX 2012 R3 Ledger but it supported
