      Hi Nazim,

I assume you tried to click the Edit button before editing the Active from field? Which version of Dynamics AX or 365 are you using? In my demo environment of MSDyn365FO, I’m able to edit the date.
      ?

      Hello,
Based on the information provided, I assume that your user lacks sufficient user rights to make this change in the COA.
What role(s) does your user have assigned?
Do you have a colleague that has possibly more right and can make this change?
      Best regards,
      Ludwig

FYI: As a user in AX 2012 R3, I was able to do it in my DEV environment, where I am a developer/sys admin.

I set the Active From to a future date and saved. No problem.

I then tried to set Active From to a different date and got a typical min/max date error:
“The Active To date must be later than the Active From date”

I simply set Active To to AX’s max date (12/31/2154) and then was able to set the Active From date to any date less than that, whether that date was future or past.

      HI All

Being as Sys admin, its still not allowing to reset the Active from

Yes, only it allows if there is Active to date, which will break the norm as only why one account is with Active date and others wont

when the date is not mandatory and if Active from field is blank its good however when Active from date is there it only allows to have any future active date and then have any Active from date but before the active from, any idea or I am missing something

      thanks and regards
