We’ve configured logging on the Security User Role table to capture changes related to user role assignments (Creates, Updates and Deletes).Ā The log files generated don’t seem to be giving me what I am looking for.Ā Is there a better way to capture logs for changes to user security for audit purposes?
If the out of box database log from Microsoft is not giving you the information you need from an audit perspective you will either have to look at other 3rd party solutions or a create a custom solution yourself.
An example report of what you can get with a 3rd party solution would be like the report below:
If you have any questions about auditing or tracking changes (using native AX/D365FO tools or 3rd party) feel free to reach out and I would be happy to help.
