A recent transaction from Retail POS shows a different line amount in the Invoice Journal lines than it does in the Sales Lines.

In Sales Lines, the line amount is $17.99, as shown here:

In the Invoice Journal, the line amount is $13.99.

Has anyone seen this before?  Do you have any suggestions on what might have caused this?

Normal flow for pricing:
Sales line –> SalesParmTable –> CustInvoiceTrans
Could be that someone or something over-rode the price while performing the posting?
Check the value in the salesparmtable if it hasn’t been deleted…

There is also a possibility – although smaller – that someone changed the salesline during the invoicing process.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I don’t think anyone over-rode the pricing / line discount since all the information flows automatically from Retail POS directly into a sales order and then invoicing, which are all automated processes that are standard AX.

For some reason though, the line discount of $2 *added* to the total in the sales order, but *subtracted* on the Invoice.

If anyone else has any thoughts, please share.
