Hello existing AXUG Special Interest Group (SIG) members!

In keeping with the New Year and new beginnings, you will see some changes in the SIG structure on the AXUG website.

I am happy to announce the creation of two new SIGs—one for AX 2009 and one for D365. If you are working with either of these versions of AX, or you just want to share your knowledge, please consider joining! Core leadership teams have been established to drive programming and activity for these SIGs.

Also, several months ago, we embarked on a project to evaluate activity of our existing SIGs. The following AXUG SIGs will be retired today:

• Consumer Products
• Enterprise Installations
• Global Installations
• Go-live Companies
• Professional Services
• Lifecycle Services
• Life Sciences Industry
• Tips and Tricks

If you are a member of one of the SIGs being retired, you should have already received a notification about this change. The existing information in those SIGs will be archived, but not lost. If you need a specific library item and you have the retired community bookmarked, you will be redirected to a location where you can download the information you need.

For the remaining active SIGs, virtual programming will apply to versions of AX2012. Some of these SIGs have been consolidated and some will remain as they are today. To boost user participation and overall value, I will be reaching out to create a core leadership group for each. If you have interest in being part of that group for a specific SIG, please email me, and we’ll get the process started! I’m looking for folks to share their expertise and knowledge with other like-minded users.

We will also be focusing on three role-based SIGs for 2017:

• Developer/Solution Architects
• Project Managers
• IT Professionals/System Administrators
