I need to know what invoices reside in a specific users queue who is now inactive. Since he’s inactive we can’t use the “Invoices Currently in Workflow” report selecting his name to determine how many affected invoices there are.
Is there any other method to filter invoices stuck in his workflow.

This might not be the most efficient, but are you sending emails to notify the person of something in their queue? If so, can you get access to the mailbox and find the invoices there? Other option is to manually go through each invoice “in review” and check workflow, but that sounds even less efficient. Curious to hear from others if there is an easy/better way.

Was a workflow batch group setup in your D365 F&O environment? You can check that under system admin module (Setup –> batch group) and see if a workflow batch group has been setup
If yes, within the system admin module check (Inquiries –> batch jobs) or ask your system administrator can provide you with a list of workflow batch jobs in pending status.
btw when did the user leave and how old are these pending vendor invoices that you are after?
