      Hi,
Is it possible to delete an “Invoice journal template” in D365?
If yes, please let me know how.
If no, why Microsoft didn’t think about that?

      Thank

      Richard

      Hi Richard,

Can you explain what you mean with an “Invoice journal template”?

      Hi AndrƩ,

Template: Invoice entry that you will use on a regular basis and you will use the same Ledger and vendor each time. Description, date and amount should change.

And it’s not a “periodic entry”.

      Thanks

      Hi Richard,

Which exact menu path are you using to create or view your templates?

      Hi AndrƩ,

Once in the Batch, and all lines entries created, i click on Function/Save voucher template. See attachment.

      Hi Richard,

Thanks for the clarification. I’m aware of the voucher template functionality, but got confused.
There is actually one option to delete the voucher templates. When you open theĀ Select voucher template form from the sub menu as shared above by you, you are able to mainly select templates. If you select a certain template (upper part of the form), you can use the key combinationĀ ALT+F9 orĀ ALT+DEL to delete a template.

      Hi Richard,

Select the voucher template header (or line) and use “ALT+Del” and that should get rid of it.

      Cheers
      Phil
