Hi Everyone,We have a Sales office which operates out of the UK.Ā We are currently trying to figure out as an organization where we stand and what we need to do to be in compliance with the new GDPR standards.Ā Does anyone know of any companies who can assist with this in a consulting fashion?

Jim-
There are a lot of misconceptions out there, especially here in the US, around GDPR and if it applies or not.Ā I hosted a cross User Group webinar last month (2/1), which was part of a GDPR webinar series, that you might find helpful.Ā
Microsoft continues to release more and more information around GDPR.Ā The Compliance Manager, which is a nice tool to track/manage steps around GDPR projects, is now available for D365 as well. Ā
I’ve attended some workshops around GDPR, as we prep at Fastpath to meet the requirements, and I have written a couple blogs also.Ā If you would like to chat, feel free to contact me.
Thanks!

I am interested if you received any useful information regarding the GDPR? We have some accounts in the EU and I’m not sure what I as an admin need to do? I dont understand what is considered “personal information” but we have companies across the country and want to make sure we are compliant by date given. ?——————————

There is a huge difference if you are operating a B2B or a B2C model and also if you are processing PII data for a client. You should also review the requirements regarding websites and cookies that is holding hits information from the EU.
Microsoft have a number of white papers on this that are really good.
