Hi

Can fixed asset be disposed off in bulk like 500 at one time: by running
Fixed asset – journal-Proposal- – Disposal scrap

In case of Disposal by Sale, it can only be disposed off with Free text invoice as it will require amount. However for Disposal by scrap does it required amount or will consider the amount as balance of NBV

The answer to your first question is yes you can do a mass disposal by making use of the disposal proposal form. When doing that ensure that you select the correct fixed asset Group or fixed asset numbers; otherwise, all of your fixed assets might get scrapped.

When scrapping your fixed assets you typically do not have to enter an amount and only need to post the journal to get the postings created correctly.
