We have an item that is reserved on a sales order that no longer exists.  How can I unreserve it?  I’ve checked output orders, and it is not there.

go to your production order and there you should be able to see the reservations and release it.

Paul, the production order has already been ended.  Does that make a difference?  Also where do I go?

Check the Transactions and find the reservation entry of that item and use GOTO facility of that transaction key and release it.

I found the transaction where it is being reserved.  I tried to click on it to make a change and got this error:
