We recently started receiving this error when logging in to D365 with a couple of accounts used to run batch data synchronization jobs into an internal application.Ā We use a 3rd party application to automate the process, but the account failures are stopping us from completing daily batch synchronization.
Error: You are logged into the system too many times
We have removed all sessions see in Online Users, but the error continues.Ā I am not having this issue with any other accounts across the organization.Ā Ā
Has anyone experienced a similar issue?
Thanks, Eric

I’m guessing it’s hitting the “Maximum web sessions per user” set in “Client performance options” parameters form.Ā For us it’s set to 60 and I’ve never seen this message, but we don’t have integration like you said. I assume the 3rd party is reading many OData entity in parallel. Maybe there’s a setting in that 3rd party to limit the amount of connection to do at the same time?
The “Maximum web sessions per user” set in the “Client performance options” parameters form was the solution.Ā We increased the number of concurrent connections, and we are successfully syncing again.Ā Ā
All the best!
