I’m working with the modern pos development, but am working with application version 7.1.  Most of the instructions out there are relating to 7.2 or 7.3 on how to implement triggers and best practices around CDX extensions.  there were many changes and these instructions do not apply to the older versions very well anymore.

Does anyone have any good resources/links on 7.0/7.1 application edition retail development specifically around extending/overlaying in the channel database and the modern pos triggers?
