When calculating cost for a newly create manufactured item I get the error below. Ā How do I begin to understand why and how to fix it?Ā

      Roman,
From the error message you included it looks like the actual division is taking placeĀ at ClassesbfpProdFormulaCalculationcalculate – line 152
Best bet would be to see what is going on in that class, it should tell you what data is missing.

      Hi Scott,
How do I begin to look into that class to see what’s missing?

I have noticed that when we get this error, there is a field on the released product that is set to zero when it should be set to at least 1. Typically, it’s the Price unit listed under the Manage costs FastTab. Sometimes you are dividing by zero somewhere else entirely.

      Hi Kelly,
Thank you for your reply. Ā You pointed me in the right direction – while it wasn’t the Price Unit it was a setting under User Defined Data fast tab that was set at zero. Thanks again.
