      Hello,

I’m trying to get the MRP to create all purchase orders, whereas they are Direct Delivery or not.

So far I didn’t find how to – when trying to firm the planned purchase order, I get an error message “A direct delivery chain cannot be created without specifying a sourcing vendor”.

As far as I know, sourcing vendor can be added on the sales order line, but then the purchase order is created instantly and that’s not what I want – I want all purchase orders to be created by firming a planned purchase order.

Has any of you the same considerations?

Any feedback is more than welcome!

      Thank you by advance.

PS: my example is for an intercompany purchase order

Do you have the intercompany vendor specified on the Purchase fast tab of the Released Product?

      Thanks Michelle for your answer.

Yes, the default vendor is filled.Ā  If flows to the planned purchase order.Ā  I have the “sourcing vendor” message in spite of that.

On the customer master for your intercompany customer, under Miscellaneous details, is Direct delivery checked?Ā  With intercompany orders, the related order is automatically created in the other legal entity as soon as one is entered but you are not at that point since the purchase orders are only in a planned state.

      Thanks again Michelle,

Yes, Direct Delivery is ticked on the SO.Ā  You’re correct about the fact that the purch order are in “planned” state.

We haven’t found a solution and are aiming for a customization šŸ™
