?On the Settle Open Transactions form for a customer, how do you determine who has marked an open transaction for settlement?Ā  Our AR dept says none of the transactions below should be marked for settlement, but they can’t determine who marked them.Ā

      Hi,

I don’t think it’s possible as the concerned field is driven by an edit method. Probably you can control the user access through a security privilege(by adding the form control).

The SpecTrans table is where all these settlement markings are stored.Ā  If the ModifiedBy or CreatedBy fields are enabled, that should tell you who created the records.Ā  Someone with access to the AOT can look at this.

?Thanks , neither field is enabled on the SpecTrans table, so we’ll enable one or both fields so that going forward we’ll be able to determine who marked a transaction for settlement.Ā  Thanks!?

      ?#AX2009Ā #FunctionalĀ

This looks similar to what I see in AX2009 Open Trans Edit accessed from Customer Detail. I tried looking at it in a demo version of D365 F&O and it worked the same way there, too.
Try looking in Inquiry (at the top of your screenshot) and go to Specifications.
It defaults to Journal, which is where most of our issues are created and if an open journal is causing the marks you should be able to see the journal number and back track to the user from there.
Other specifications include open sales orders and payment proposals.

I dont know if you own Atlas but you could pull this information via a report from Atlas?
