Several time due to users access issue to AX Portal or Dynamics AX, its not fixed with clearing all usage data under Sys admin “Options”.Ā Work around recommended to us to delete user account from sys admin -> user
Is it true process
Isnt it can delete or impact the record associated wit the users
Please advise / suggest

Hi Najeem,
Yes, in some cases, when clearing usage data and all other options have failed, deleting the user and recreating them in AX can be the solution to some problems.
When the user is deleted, transactions this user posted will still reference the userID, there is no ‘break’ in the trail of posting, so to speak.
If this is a process that is required frequently, then I would want to investigate for a root cause. Is there a customization that is corrupting the user? Is it the same user(s)? What how do their job functions interact? Does this occur after/during a particular task is completed?Ā
