Hi All

I am unable to run Trial balance, receiving following error message
From date is in fiscal year 2019. To date is in fiscal year 2019. Dates must be in same fiscal year

any suggestion

Hi Nazim,

That message is thrown when the from date and the to date you are trying to view the TB by are in different fiscal years.

E.g.   Fiscal year is  01/04/19 – 31/12/19

TB
From  = 01/02/19
To       = 31/05/19
AX/D365 will throw an error message as you are trying to report on 2 fiscal years.

TB
From = 01/02/19
To     =  31/05/19

AX/D365 will not throw an error as the dates are in the same financial/fiscal year

Have a look at the periods in the financial calendar in the GL -> Set up area and try to report on dates within a calendar year.

Nazim,

The error is related to the calendar chosen when the legal entity was setup.  If the legal entity had a Gregorian calendar setup in the Ledger, then the periods that could be requested in the Parameters of the Trial balance would be from 1/1 through 12/31.  However, if you are trying to report on the Gregorian calendar and your legal entity has a fiscal year from 4/1 through 3/31 you will not be able to get this from native AX, you would be better off to use Management reporter and modify the base periods/years to report the time frame you are looking for.
