Good day,  i am trying to update pricing on a sales order with hundreds of lines.  
I am trying to use DATA management, entity  Sales order line V2,  
I have exported my sales order,   changed the price on the lines  and when trying to import I get this error message.

Inventory dimension location is inactive and may consequently not be specified.

Does any one knows what it means ?

Hi Pascale,

Go to Product information management > Setup > Dimension and variant groups > Storage dimension groups

Check to see the setups you have there and see which setups are active for location or not.  If you do not have the location set as active then you won’t be able to import the sales orders.  You may have to either take location off those particular items or change the storage dimension group to allow for location to be active.

Some clients are Site/Warehouse only, others will do Site/Warehouse/Location
